Ivy Dorchester-Brown

School Sports Co-ordinator

Ivy is the SSCo for Wingfield Comprehensive School and its family of 4 Primary Schools, and Saint Pius X Catholic High School and its family of 6 Primary Schools. She has worked for Rotherham Local Authority for 29 years spending 26 of those years at Kimberworth Comprehensive School before joining the SSCo team at Rawmarsh in January 2004.

Ivy is the oldest member of the team still young at heart with bundles of energy, enthusiasm and drive. She is always at the cutting edge of new and exciting initiatives including the Leadership Academy, Multi-Skill Academy as well as the Top Link Festivals. She enjoys her job as SSCo because of the variety, no one day or week is the same, it involves working with children of all ages from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4, Primary School Teachers, Secondary School Teachers, Community Sports Coaches, South Yorkshire Development Coaches and Adults Other Than Teachers.
